Creativity needs a safe environment
Children have ideas of their own accord!
Whether these are good and safe or bad and dangerous ideas - or whatever they are called by adults - often depends on the environment and the "materials" at their disposal.
It makes a difference whether we put a child in front of a box of matches or in front of well-made blocks of wood. The desire to explore the world and find out new things is there in both situations, but the potential danger or consequences are not the same.
Free play usually doesn't need much support, but a suitable environment and suitable materials - as natural and realistic as possible!
And then the ideas come all by themselves....
All the best,
